Dec. 1985

"Nihon KOHA Co., Ltd." established in Nerima-ku, Sekimachi Kita, Tokyo, with the objective of employing new technologies based on optoelectronics to develop, design, and sell unique products.The manufacturing, inspection and shipping was consigned to "Mizuho Denso Co., Ltd."

Oct. 1986

Began sale of vending machine keyboards.

Aug. 1987

Began sale of interlocking pushbuttons for vending machines.

Sep. 1988

Established "Op-Seed Tsunan Co., Ltd." In NakaUonuma-gun, Tsunan-cho, Niigata.
Prefecture to manufacture and sell interlocking pushbuttons for vending machines and other products.
Capital: 50% KOHA, 50% Mizuho Denso.

Oct. 1989

Merged with Mizuho Denso Co,. Ltd., thereby, combining all manufacturing and sales operations.

Nov. 1989

Changed company name to "KOHA Co,. Ltd."

Aug. 1990

Moved head office to Nerima-ku, Higashi Oizumi, Tokyo.

Jan. 1991

Constructed the "Hamamatsu Plant" in Inasa-gun, Hosoe-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Oct. 1992

Proposed and created a single-unit price display unit for vending machines.

Jan. 1993

Began manufacture and sale of multi-LED lamps.

Jun. 1993

Began manufacture and sale of LED backlights for LCD displays.

Oct. 1994

Developed a dot matrix unit with a unique construction, and created a built-in message board for vending machines.

Mar. 1995

Introduced and installed a departure information display as a a terminal for the JR East Japan "Autonomous Decentralized Transport Operation Control System."

Mar. 1995

Opened the "Nagoya Sales Office" in Atsuta-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.

Mar. 1996

Developed and installed a passenger information display for JR Ofuna Station.

May. 1997

Established "Op-Seed Co., (BD) Ltd." in the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Feb. 1998

Began manufacture and sale of Full-color dot-matrix for Picture indication machine.

Feb. 1998

Opened the "Himeji Sales Office" in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture.

Jul. 1998

Listed stock in the over-the-counter market.

Feb. 2000

Developed and created 3 colors (Red Blue Green) LED lump-3in1.

Dec. 2000

Op-Seed Tsunan Co., Ltd. acquires "ISO9001" certification.

Jul. 2001

Hamamatsu plant acquires "ISO9001" certification.

Apr. 2002

Moved head office to Kouyama, Nerima-ku, tokyo.

Mar. 2004

KOHA Co,. Ltd and Op-Seed Tsunan Co., Ltd. acquires "ISO14001" certification.

Nov. 2005

Opened the "Logistics Center" in Tsurugashima, Saitama Prefecture.
